Miniature Enthusiasts of Ottawa
If you have a love of anything
miniature, if you love to make things and spend time with people who will
encourage, teach and share your enthusiasm, the Miniature Enthusiasts of Ottawa
may be the group for you.
We are a non-profit organization open to anyone who has an interest in
miniatures. We promote the hobby of collecting and crafting miniatures through
the sharing of ideas and talents within and outside the club. Our club, which
now has a membership of more than 60 people from all walks of life, would love
to have you join.
The membership fee is $20.00 per year for one person and $30.00 for a family
membership. Our meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at the
McNabb Community Centre, located at the corner of Percy and Gladstone in Ottawa.
Our
monthly meetings include presentations covering a
wide variety of subjects of interest to miniaturists. The program leaders may
be members of our own club, or frequently, guests from other sources. Please
click on “Schedule: to see the next month’s program. Samples for the next set
of workshops are shown at each monthly meeting, along with sign-up sheets. The
workshops are generally very inexpensive and can open up new possibilities for
anyone who attends.
So come and visit us...you are not obligated to join at your first meeting, but
we feel sure that once you have had the opportunity to see what we do, you will
want to become a part of this club.
